Your post put a smile on my face -- although with some bitterness in it. I'm also a developer, I also hate admin work, I also have to do it occasionally because there's nobody else. And the SHA + Poodle mess also cost me lots of my precious time. As you can see, you're not alone (for what it is worth ;-)
